I was selected as the February Guest Designer for 3 Scrappy Boys. They graciously sent me their Trio Kit for the month, so I made a video to share all the awesomeness that I’ll be working with for the month! I’ll post sneak peaks here with a link to their blog on the days that I’ll be posting over there. Check out all their monthly kits at 3 Scrappy Boys and be sure to stop in and introduce yourself in their online community forums, too!
(*please forgive me for saying UM about a million times! Apparently I was nervous! I’ll do better in the future, promise!)
Visit Sam at Scrapping With Pirkie to see the finished banner she’s been working on! It’s ADORABLE!
Also, be sure to link up your project for this week’s Make Something Monday Challenge. See you guys on Friday! Thanks for stopping by!!
Welcome to another new weekly challenge! Last week we had two participants link up to the challenge to use dimensional adhesive. Darcy made a dramatic layout questioning where spring was in early 2013!
Visit her blog to see her full layout and details! Thanks for participating, Darcy! I love how the black background makes the spring blue and yellow pop. I also love how you were able to catch that splash in the photo!
This week’s challenge is a color challenge! With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, the challenge is to use PINK and RED on your layout, card or project.
I’ve been wanting to do a single layer card. I’ve seen several other crafters make this type of card so I decided to try it myself. My first attempt was a bit more simple looking than I had hoped, but I still think it’s lovely.
I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of paper and fussy cut it out. I then used temporary adhesive to mask the area for the greeting while I stamped the floral pattern in two shades of pink. After removing the mask, I stamped the sentiment in red ink and added some rhinestones to add some sparkle.
I also made my first process video. Be gentle. It was my first attempt at a video. 😉
Check Sam’s Blog to see the adorable card she made for this week’s challenge!
To get in on this week’s challenge, simply make a card, layout or any project featuring the colors PINK AND RED. Link up below and you may be featured next week when we issue a new challenge! I can’t wait to see what you’ve made! See you on Wednesday!
